Scottish folds are also known for sleeping on their backs. They typically have soft voices and display a complex repertoire of meows and purrs not found in better-known breeds. Scottish folds are also popular among celebrities, one of them being American singer Taylor Swift, who has named her three Scottish fold cats after well-known fictional characters – "Meredith Grey", "Olivia Benson", and Benjamin Button. Loneliness is something they heavily dislike. It is also common for Scottish Folds to be stubborn.
